Here's just a sample of some of our mural work you'll see around town.
If you know of an area prone to tagging in South Auckland that might benefit from a mural, please let us know!
RECENTLY COMPLETED MURALS
August 2016: Te Mahia Rail Station was given a facelift with this mural. The mural is a collaboration between the Trust, Manurewa Local Board, Auckland Transport, Corrections Department and Manurewa Intermediate. |
February 2016: The great people from Idea Services helped us create this gorgeous mural which replaced a bare, tag-prone wall along the face of the Redhill Superette in Papakura. |
On 5 December 2015 we unveiled a series of new murals painted on the Gallaher Park Clubrooms in Manurewa. The murals were painted by local schools and community groups as part of a competition. Manurewa High School were the winners with their bright depiction of a variety of sporting codes (pictured far left). The project has transformed the previously dull, tired clubrooms into a work of art that will be less prone to tagging. |
