TEACHERS

We hold close relationships with schools all over Auckland and in the process of working with teachers for over 10 years, we've learnt a thing or two . . .

We hear you! You're slammed for time and bogged down in paper work and just want to get on with teaching.

Eye on Nature takes the pressure off you.

We have educators, volunteers, resources and all the mechanisms in place to make the Eye on Nature experience a pleasant one. Even the bus transport is free!

Our Eye on Nature programme and competitions are extremely engaging there's no hard sell to your students and parents.

Auckland Based Opportunities:

If you teach primary school students aged 9-10 years old in South - East Auckland, you may be eligible to attend our Eye on Nature School Days.

If you would like your school or students to become Kaitiaki for your local environment, let us know! We aim to inspire our tamariki to make sustainable choices, everyday, everywhere and are more than happy to facilitate environmental, school-based projects. We can organise riparian planting, waste minimisation initiatives and clean-ups, right on your door step! All with an educational component to encourage your students to take ownership and care for their surroundings.
E-mail dawn.edwards@mbct.org.nz for more information!

Auckland wide teachers can enter students or their school into our Eye on Nature Wearable Art Competition.

New Zealand Wide Opportunities:

We have a number of resources from our network of environmental friends, educators and partners to help you duplicate what we do here in South Auckland. Need some help? Contact us today.
